Charles W. Donovan  Director, Centre for Climate Finance and Investment - Imperial College Business School

Charles is Director of the Centre for Climate Finance and Investment at Imperial College Business School.  He is Principal Teaching Fellow in the Department of Management and a Fellow at the Grantham Institute - Climate Change and Environment, Imperial College London. In his corporate career, he was most recently Head of Structuring and Valuation for Alternative Energy at BP plc.  Dr. Donovan was also an Energy Policy Analyst with the United States Environmental Protection Agency during the Clinton Administration and worked in principal investments at the Enron Corporation.  He holds a bachelor degree from the University of Washington, an MBA from Vanderbilt University, and a doctorate in management from IE Business School.  Dr. Donovan is the editor and co-author of Renewable Energy Finance: Powering the Future, published in 2015.
