Colin brings over 35 years’ experience in the pensions industry, having spent 25 years as a Pensions Actuary advising trustees and sponsors.

Colin is a Director of Zedra Governance Limited and was part of the MBO in 2017 of PTL prior to sale to Zedra in 2021. He has accumulated over 9 years as a Trustee, gaining extensive experience of managing defined benefit schemes ranging from £30 million to £12 billion, including clients in the financial services sector. He is a highly experienced Chair of Trustees, Board Member and extensive Investment Sub-Committee / DC Committee experience.

Colin has first-hand experience in working with internal pensions teams, funders and strategists of Master Trusts and Workplace Pension providers. He fully appreciates the focus of trustees on the strategic direction and robust governance, with clarity as to the roles, responsibilities and monitoring of the appropriate delegation.

As part of Zedra Governance’s ESG committee, Colin is active in defining ESG beliefs, setting key objectives and climate change targets.
