Alex joined APG Asset Management in January 2018 as Fiduciary Manager. In that capacity he is focusing on advising clients on risk budgeting and alternative investments like Hedge Funds and Commodities. Before joining APG Alex worked for 6 years for Univest Company, (the investment advisor of the global Unilever pension schemes) as Director of Equities & Alternatives and Director of Fixed Income. He has worked for more than 23 years in the investment management industry. Starting his career on the sell side at Credit Lyonnais he has worked as a Portfolio Manager at ING, Philips Pension fund and ABN AMRO. Before joining Univest, he was heading the Investment Specialist Team at Robeco and was Head of Product Management.
