Catherine is a Partner, Actuary and Head of Pensions at Hymans Robertson. She has over 20 years’ experience in advising LGPS funds on actuarial and employee benefit related topics. She works strategically with our largest local authority clients, including several funds >£10bn and provides actuarial support to the LGPS Scheme Advisory Board in Scotland. Catherine recently completed a 3-year term as Chair of Hymans Robertson Audit and Assurance Group and member of the Oversight Board, joining the Management Board from 1 September 2024 and assuming responsibility for leadership of the pensions market. Catherine is a regular speaker at industry events on key LGPS and pensions topics. She was the lead adviser in the SAB’s Good Governance project within the LGPS at national level.
