Daan Spaargaren started his career in responsible investment in 2008 at Sustainalytics, the Amsterdam-based ESG rating agency. He was, amongst others, involved in SRI policy development and controversial weapon research. In 2013, Daan took a position as Policy Advisor Sustainability at Eumedion, the Dutch interest body for institutional investors. At Eumedion, Daan was closely involved in drafting the first Dutch Stewardship Code. In May 2019, Daan switched to PME Pension Fund where he currently works in the role of Responsible Investment Strategist.
