Dario Pozzoli
Professor
Copenhagen Business School
Dario Pozzoli is a Full Professor of Economics at Copenhagen Business School, where he serves as Head of Studies and Vice Head of Department. His research lies at the intersection of labor economics, international trade, and applied microeconometrics, with a particular focus on globalization, automation, immigration, and firm behavior. In recent work, he has also started investigating the influence of pension fund investment on firms. Using detailed Danish register data, his research shows that pension fund equity investment is associated with higher productivity in unlisted firms and promotes corporate innovation, including green technologies. This work provides suggestive evidence on the importance of long-term, patient capital and governance channels in shaping firm performance and innovation outcomes. More broadly, his research examines how technological change (industrial robots and automation), global integration (offshoring), and financial markets affect productivity, innovation, and the allocation of labor across firms
