David Vyravipillai is a Senior Investment Manager in the Sustainable Ownership Team at Railpen, one of the UK's largest pension funds, leading their ESG integration strategy across all asset classes, with a particular focus on equities and private markets. He has over a decade of experience in the investment industry, spanning equity research with a focus on value investing and sustainable investing. Prior to joining Railpen, he spent six years as a Research Analyst at Southeastern Asset Management, a US long-only Value Investment Fund. He started his career at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst in London. He has a Master of Laws (M.A.) from University of Cambridge and holds the CFA Level 4 Certificate in ESG Investing and the IFRS Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credential.
