Jesús Martínez is co-manager of the Aegon Global Sustainable Sovereign Bond Strategy and focuses on sovereign portfolios, with a special attention to sustainability and ESG matters. He joined Aegon Asset Management in 2010. Before his current role Jesus was responsible for pension fund and general account management at Aegon Asset Management Spain. He has been in the industry since 2008, when he joined Caja España Fondos as portfolio manager. Jesús holds a Master’s degree in Derivatives from Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (Madrid) and a PhD in Business Economics from Rey Juan Carlos I University (Madrid). Jesús is a CFA charter holder.
