Jo has been a trustee of the DH&S Retirement and Death Benefits Plan since 2007, initially as a member nominated trustee and now as an employer nominated trustee. In that time, she has been involved in several projects (including overseeing the outsourcing of the scheme administration from an in-house team to a third party provider), Jo has chaired the Administration, Benefits & Communications Committee, she currently chairs the Governance Committee and she is a member of the Funding and Valuation Committee. In December 2018 Jo retired from PwC, where she was a director in the Pensions Assurance practice, providing governance and assurance services to a wide range of pension schemes. Jo has been an Executive Director of the Pensions Research Accountants Group (“PRAG”) since 2012.
