Jonathan is a qualified accountant and corporate treasurer. His corporate experiences included roles at DHL, the BBC and latterly RHM, where he was Director of Treasury with responsibility for pension investment strategy both from a company perspective and as a trustee.
He has been actively involved in pension funding and investment strategy since 2004, and operates as an independent, acting either as scheme or investment committee chairman or IC member. He has been responsible for major LDI and diversification initiatives and involved in a number of complex funding discussions, where his treasury/banking experience has been beneficial.
His portfolio of pension schemes includes Premier Foods/RHM (Chair of IFC), Balfour Beatty (Chair Independent member of IC), TRW (Independent trustee/IC member 2010-2018), Arcadia (Chair of JIfc) and EE (Chair of Board/IC).
