Liz is the Investments Manager for the Avon Pension Fund, with responsibility for the investment and funding strategies and all financial aspects of the Fund. The Fund has assets of £5 billion, 110,000+ members and over 450 employers. It has implemented a diversified investment strategy across a range of growth assets, alternatives and private markets and has a bespoke liability risk management framework. The Fund has had a Responsible Investing Policy in place since 2012. Liz represents Avon within the Brunel Pension Partnership for pooling the Fund’s investment assets. Before joining the Avon Pension Fund, Liz spent many years as a fund manager and investment analyst in the private sector, where she gained experience in managing equity portfolios across the developed and emerging markets.
