Marcus Svedberg is chief economist at Folksam, one of the largest insurance and pension savings companies in Sweden. He is responsible for macro analysis and strategy across the group with a special focus on sustainability. He previously had a similar role at the Fourth Swedish National Pension Fund (AP4) and have also worked at the World Bank and East Capital. He has also been involved with research institutes such as Stockholm Sustainable Finance Centre and Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics as well as Kyiv Economics Institute and Institute of International Relations in Prague. Marcus is a member of a number of advisory and working groups related to sustainable finance and pension investments. He has a master’s degree in political economy from the London School of Economics.
