Peter Carpenter is a Labour Councillor in Wandsworth and has been a member of the Pensions Committee for the past 10 years. Since the merger of their administrations the Wandsworth and Richmond Pensions Funds have been merged and are valued at some £3 Billion.

Peter is an accountant by profession and, prior to becoming a Councillor, had a career in Mobile Communications where he was Finance Director of both what is now O2 and EE. He was also Managing Director of Mobile Phone Companies in Uganda and Zambia.

Peter is also a non-executive Director of Nexgen Clearing Ltd., which provides services to Mobile Phone Companies worldwide.
