Shajahan has over 23 years’ experience advising and managing portfolios for pensions funds and other institutional investors. His career focus has been to help investors structure portfolios to manage risks and meet their goals. He is a qualified Actuary with investment management experience across multiple asset classes; his particular focus is to ensure a liability aware approach is embedded in what we do.

Prior to joining Alpha, Shajahan was Head of Solutions Research at AXA Investment Managers in London where he devised and implemented liability and cashflow driven investment funds and strategies for pension funds. He has also been a senior member of LGIM’s solutions team as well as a Senior Investment Consultant in Towers Watson’s structured products team and has a wealth of experience working directly with UK pension fund clients. Shajahan started his career as a trainee actuary with Aon in Manchester.
