Simon is a Partner in Eversheds Sutherland’s pensions team, having been with the firm for more than 20 years. He advises governing bodies, sponsoring employers and providers on all issues relating to the full range of occupational pension schemes. Simon has a particular interest in pensions investment and advises a number of LGPS funds and private sector schemes on the legal aspects of investment matters. This includes the interpretation and application of fiduciary duty in the modern investment context. Simon leads Eversheds Sutherland’s Pensions Investment Practice, is the Chair of the Society of Pensions Professionals’ Investment Committee and is a member of a number of other industry working groups.
