Sweta is a Director within the Private Markets team at bfinance, and heads up Private Equity advisory. bfinance is an independent investment consultancy, that supports over 300 sophisticated institutional investors around the world with implementing their investment strategies. The firm provides a range of services including manager search and selection, directs/ co-investment advisory, and portfolio strategy, design, review and monitoring solutions. Sweta has over a decade of experience investing in both Private Equity Funds, and Directs/ Co-Investments, across a number of strategies and geographies. Before joining bfinance, Sweta was a Senior Investment Manager at RPMI Railpen (the £27bn UK Railways Pension Scheme), where she was responsible for leading Private Equity and Debt investments, including the sourcing, due diligence, negotiations and execution of transactions, and involved in the build-up of Railpen's co-investment portfolio. Previously, she was a Vice President at Adveq, focusing on small/ mid cap European PE opportunities, and emerging managers. Prior to that, she also held roles at Universities Superannuation Scheme, and within M&A at ABN Amro. She holds an L.L.B from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from INSEAD.
