Tony is the Chief Executive Officer of Oak Pension Asset Management Limited (OPAM), which is the in-house investment manager for the Barclays pension fund (Barclays UK Retirement Fund); and is the Chief Investment Officer of the Barclays Pension Fund. This c.£28bn fund is highly diversified and global. Tony and OPAM are responsible for the asset allocation process, investment management, implementation and risk and liquidity management of the fund. The fund utilises a significant number of external asset class specialists, with a sizable portion of assets under management invested in illiquids.
