Dr. Christoph Gort is an Investment Managing Director at Cambridge Associates AG and works with institutional and professional clients in Switzerland. He assumes the role of CIO, PM or advisor in client mandates related to advisory and implementation of alternative investments and portfolios. In 2010, Christoph was a Founding Partner of SIGLO Capital Advisors AG (SIGLO), a Zurich-based investment advisor specialising in alternative investments such as ILS, private debt, drawdown management and impact investing. In November 2024, SIGLO was acquired by Cambridge Associates. Christoph started his career in 2003 at the City of Zurich Pension Fund. As a member of the investment team, he oversaw investments in foreign currencies, commodities, hedge funds and active equity strategies, among others. In 2008, he joined Harcourt Investment Consulting AG as a fund of hedge funds analyst, where he became head of fund of funds research in 2010. After studying economics in Bern, he completed his doctorate with a specialisation in behavioural finance at the University of Zurich in 2007
