Daniel is the Business Development Director and co-head of Pomerantz’s recently opened London office. Pomerantz LLP is the oldest law firm in the world dedicated to representing the rights of defrauded investors, and one of the most highly respected. Daniel is responsible for providing a high quality and dedicated service to UK pension funds and institutional investors. He aims to ensure clients have the tools, systems and process in place to pursue cases of corporate misconduct anywhere in the world and to seek both financial redress and any requisite ESG changes.
Daniel was previously Head of Corporate Affairs at the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) - the UK's largest pension fund. He was responsible for USS’s external affairs and public relations, including government engagement and corporate communications, for both the pension and investments businesses. Prior to that, Daniel co-headed the Responsible Investment Team at USS Investment Management where he was responsible for the stewardship of the companies, funds and assets in which USS invests by engaging on key governance issues and market-wide risks as part of the internal investment process
Prior to USS, he was the Head of Corporate Governance at the Institute of Directors.
