Hugo is a Senior Investment Consultant and Principal based in Barnett Waddingham's London office. He works closely with trustees in relation to DC investment matters for own trust and master trust schemes. Alongside advising clients, he takes an active role in Barnett Waddingham’s Investment Research Team, exploring new strategy ideas for DC schemes, how to invest sustainably without losing sight of the wider sources of risk and return faced by investors, and exploring new ideas in the equity and multi-asset space. With his focus on DC, he carries out research through the lens of adding value for members after costs and avoiding complexity for the sake of it.
