Inder Dhingra
Independent Trustee and Chair

Inder is an Independent Pension Trustee, Non-Executive Director, and an experienced senior executive. He has worked across a wide range of Pensions roles including as Chair of trustee boards (both large and small), as Chair of Investment Committees and as Chair of one of the largest Independent Governance Committees (IGC) in the UK. His expertise includes strong governance, investment strategy and risk management across both DB and DC schemes.
Inder’s career has spanned financial services, consulting, academia, and engineering. Prior to the current non-exec career, he spent two decades working in banking covering treasury, finance, risk management, pensions, and insurance. His last role at Lloyds Banking Group was as Senior Executive with group-wide responsibility for market and liquidity risk. This included serving on the Scottish Widows’ Investment Strategy Committee overseeing strategic asset allocation of the Insurance Company balance sheet. Prior to that he was Managing Director at Nomura International plc as International Head of Market Risk.
His education includes MBA from Cranfield and PhD from Cambridge University.
