Laura Colliss has over 20 years of experience with the North East Scotland Pension Fund (NESPF), where her role has evolved alongside the Fund's growth. Initially responsible for the Fund’s accounting function, Laura’s remit expanded to include investment oversight as the Fund’s assets increased significantly.

In 2013, Laura was appointed Pension Fund Manager, assuming full responsibility for all aspects of NESPF operations. Her leadership encompasses service delivery, accounting, benefits administration, employer engagement, governance, investments, and systems management. Under her stewardship, the NESPF has grown to become the third-largest Local Government Pension Scheme in Scotland, with over 78,000 members, 36 participating employers, and £6.9 billion in assets.

She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Local Authority Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF) and acts as an Advisor to the Scottish Scheme Advisory Board, contributing to the strategic direction of local government pension provision in Scotland.
