Michel Wetser

Michel Wetser is Principal Fiduciary Manager at MN in the Netherlands. In this role, he advises pension fund boards and investment committees on investment strategy, portfolio construction, and governance‑related decision‑making within a fiduciary management framework.
He has extensive experience in asset management and fiduciary advisory and has previously held senior roles at ABN AMRO, ING Investment Management, and SNS Asset Management. His expertise includes strategic asset allocation, interest‑rate risk and cash management, lifecycle investing, and the alignment of investment strategy with board‑level objectives and constraints.
Michel closely follows developments in pension governance and is actively involved in advising pension funds on the implications of the Wet toekomst pensioenen (Wtp). His work focuses on translating the new regulatory and governance framework into robust, implementable investment strategies, supporting boards in making well‑informed decisions during the transition to the new pension system.
