Summer Global Outlook

-    Inflation has tended to be stickier than expected across many developed economies; that has lifted the expected path for short-term interest rates
-    Rather than being a headwind to economic growth, might higher interest rates aid creative destruction and boost productivity growth rates
-    The US looks particularly likely to benefit, improving on its existing top tier economic dynamism; by contrast, Europe risks being left behind
-    How are these trends reflected into markets?

Fixed Income Liquidity in the Current Macro Environment

•    What did we learn from the liquidity shock 2020?
•    How liquid are different segments of the fixed income markets today?
•    How robust is that liquidity?
•    Should the fact that rates are high, or the fact that rates are declining, change the way we think about liquidity?
•    Is there growing liquidity in “illiquid” markets – but still an illiquidity premium?
