Andreas heads up the European Index Research and Design team at FTSE Russell where he leads a high-performance team of 11 with the focus on the quantitative aspects of index design. Prior joining that Andreas headed the European Quant Equity Research Team at UBS and before that worked on the buy side as Investment Director, Head of Quantitative Analytics, Risk Manager and Quant Analyst. He holds a diploma of Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology majoring in machine learning and database systems and is a CFA charter holder.
