David Rae is Head of Strategic Client Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the development of client specific solutions for all institutional clients across EMEA. David has over 20 years’ experience working with institutional clients, including pension funds, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds. He has held a number of roles at Russell Investments. Between 2006 and 2012 he lead the derivative overlay, LDI and implementation business for EMEA, and prior to that worked as a consultant in both London and Auckland. Before joining Russell Investments in 2000, David worked at Railpen Investments where he was involved in running externally managed pooled funds for the railway industry-wide pension scheme. David is a member of the EMEA Executive Committee, Chair of the Boards of the FCA regulated companies and Chair of Trustees for the Russell Investments Pension Plan.
