Edward Richardson is an Alternatives Investment Director based in London. He leads discussions with Mercer’s clients on their asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager selection decisions across hedge funds and private markets.

Edward joined Mercer in 2013. He started his career as an investment consultant, offering institutional investment advice to a range of different clients, particularly DB and DC pension schemes. He moved to specialize in hedge fund portfolio management in 2016. He is a voting member on Mercer's Hedge Fund Rating Review Committee.

Edward has degree in Economics BSc (Honours) degree from the University of Nottingham, is a CFA® charter holder and a CAIA® charter holder.
