Ian is the CIO of Royal Mail Pension Trustees Limited and, having overseen their 2012 asset transfer
to Government, now oversees investments totalling c.£15 billion across 3 pension plans.
Before Royal Mail, where he has been for 11 years, Ian was an investment consultant for over a decade variously with Watson Wyatt (now Towers Watson), LCP, KPMG and Morgan Stanley.

He read Mathematics at the University of Warwick.
