Jan has been head of ESG & Sustainability in PensionDanmark since the beginning of 2019. Before, he was Director of Business Development in PBU, another Danish labour market pension fund. Jan has been involved in the work of international collaborations like Net Ze-ro Asset Owner Alliance, IIGCC, PRI, OECD and World Economic Forum.

He started his career in the ministry of finance and served for many years as chief econ-omist in the Danish confederation of trade unions.

He holds a master in economics from University of Copenhagen and teaches macro at Co-penhagen Business School.
