Jennifer Richards is a relatively new Trustee, having joined the Mercer Master Trust a year ago and another DB scheme later in 2025 after gaining her professional Trustee qualification.  However, she has over 30 year's experience in the pensions and investment industry in Ireland and across Europe.  During her career she has worked with Trustees from a wide range of Irish pension schemes discussing investment challenges and solutions.  In addition to acting as Trustee, Jennifer is an Independent Non-Executive Director for a number of Irish investment funds, reflecting her strong focus on good, proportionate, governance.

Jennifer has a degree in Statistics from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, a Masters in Investment and Treasury from Dublin City University, is a Certified Investment Fund Director, a Pension Trustee Practioner and a passionate believer in both saving for retirement and living well after retirement.

Jennifer has three sons, a golden labrador and a love of the sea.
