Julia Ripa is a Senior Analyst in the Systematic Equities team at The Fourth Swedish National Pension Fund (AP4). Julia is responsible for building sustainable equity strategies based on large ESG datasets and also works with the external managers within EM. Julia has a Master of Science in Engineering, Engineering Mathematics with a master within financial modelling from the Faculty of Engineering in Lund, Sweden. Prior to AP4, Julia worked at SEB, where she constructed ESG-models for the bank’s large clients. AP4 is a buffer fund in the Swedish public pension system, per year end 2022 total AUM amounted to SEK approximately 460 bn. AP4 is a long-term investor with a conviction that over time, integrating sustainability aspects in the asset management contributes to better management of risk and opportunities thus also returns.
