Matt Lomas is a stewardship and sustainable investment professional with 10+ years’ experience spanning investment stewardship, risk consulting, and sustainability strategy. Before transitioning to the investment world, Matt’s early career was as a consultant working for the risk advisory firm Control Risks, where he advised multinational companies across a variety of industries on managing political risks. He currently leads stewardship for the endowment of Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation—one of the largest in the UK. The endowment operates under a dual mandate: achieving long-term financial returns (CPI + 4%) to fund the Foundation's health projects while investing in a mission-aligned way. With a multi-asset class portfolio, Matt leads engagement with both fund managers and portfolio companies to advance these objectives.
