Robbie is Partner, qualified Actuary and Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. He is currently Fund Actuary to four LGPS funds and leads Hymans Robertson’s LGPS client consulting team. Internally, he is responsible for developing business plans and strategies which meet client and market needs in the public sector.
Robbie has been advising pension schemes since 2007 and has experience in most types of pension matters, including funding strategy, investment issues and accounting. In this time, he has worked with a huge range of Local Government Authorities and employers and is known for his straightforward, pragmatic advice and client focus. Robbie also specialises in insurance, employer covenant, LGPS frameworks and in shaping and taking new services to market.
