Steve is a Partner and Senior Investment Consultant, with 22 years’ experience. He specializes in advising large clients with assets between £700m and £7bn, in the private and public sector. Steve’s clients span the risk / return spectrum. A number have heavily de-risked and focus on funding level risk management and generating secure cash-flows, whilst others remain open to future accrual, whose investment objectives are focused on generating long-term sustainable returns. He has significant experience of working with clients with many different backgrounds. He is a voting member on a number of Mercer’s manager ratings committees and is also responsible for helping shape Mercer’s key consulting ideas for DB clients. Steve joined Mercer is 1998 and has a BSc in Economics and Politics.
