Sonia Gogna
Chair
Children’s Investment Foundation
Sonia is Chair of the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation GP Board, a $6 billion subsidiary of CIFF focussed on children and climate change. She is also an independent NED on the boards of the Pension Protection Fund (which manages £32 billion in assets) and Local Pensions Partnership Investments (which manages £27 billion). Sonia has over 20 years of experience in fund management, actuarial science, pensions, and leadership. She specialises in OCIO and multi-asset investments, investment strategy, business transformations, and governance. Her most recent executive role was as Global Head of Investment Solutions at Aberdeen, where she led their Solutions business across DB and DC pensions, wealth, and insurance globally. Sonia has held several other senior roles at Aon, State Street and Willis Towers Watson. She holds an MBA from London Business School, a Master's degree in Actuarial Mathematics, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
