Dutch Pensions will keep changing
The Dutch pension landscape is changing. Within a couple of years, all NL pension plan members will have some form of personal pension capital. Most plans will be designed as a Solidarity contribution plan. But the characteristics of the Solidarity plan still differ from the preferences of sponsors (employers) and participants. The investment policies of the newly designed pension plans are still in its infancy. What further changes in NL pension plan design can we expect? And what are the consequences for the resulting investment policies?

Investing and the New Pension Contract
Under the New Pension Contract pension funds could invest similarly to the current contract, as we are still investing with the same goal: providing a good pension. But the new rules do give some room for change. More private markets, more credit risk and less currency hedging are some of the possibilities pension funds are investigating. In this presentation Cees Harm will share the latest insights on the possible investment policy under the New Pension Contract.

Natural Capital
The evolution of agriculture and forestry has to be seen in a wider context, namely: preservation of Biodiversity. Minimizing biodiversity losses can be reached by changing the way we farm, fish or produce wood, without losing the ability to make a financial gain. This presentation will cover how to create a balance between impact and financial return and the place of natural capital in an institutional portfolio.
