Marcelo Preto is an Equity Fund Manager specialising in global equities and themes linked to the ecological and energy transition. As co-fund manager of Mandarine Global Transition, Mandarine’s global equities strategy related to the ecological and climate transition, Marcelo is also one of the key persons involved in the creation of the strategy. Prior to joining Mandarine in 2018, he was an Analyst specialising in mergers and acquisitions at Credit Suisse in Paris. He then held a position within the Utilities team of Credit Suisse in London specialising in Infrastructures and Environmental Services.
Marcelo began his career in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2011, where he served as a Private Equity Analyst at GP Investments and then as a Junior Consultant at Roland Berger.

Marcelo is a CFA® charterholder and holds an Engineering Degree from the University of Sao Paulo and a Master’s Degree in Finance from HEC Paris.
