Struan Malcolm

Head of Nordic Sales

Northern Trust

Struan is responsible for helping pension funds, insurance companies, asset managers and hedge funds to find solutions to their administration, technology, and regulatory requirements. He has dedicated the last 10 years of his career to covering the Nordic region on a multi-asset, multi-product basis. Prior to his appointment in Stockholm in 2011, Struan was a Director at ABN Amro and Nomura covering sales and trade execution for large multi-asset portfolio restructures and Delta One solutions. Struan has 24 years financial markets experience, commencing at Northern Trust in Asset Servicing and subsequently Deputy Head of Operations for Northern Trust Asset Management in Europe, where he designed the operational infrastructure to support over $20bn AUM of investment activities across passive and active strategies. Struan holds a BA (Hons) Business in Europe degree from the Manchester Metropolitan University and the Investment Management Certificate.
