Planet, People, Profit – Aligning savings to a sustainable transition

Asset owners have an opportunity to consider aligning members’ savings to sustainable alternatives to core global equity.  The pace of regulatory change quickens, with climate change and biodiversity becoming ever-more urgent considerations in capital allocation frameworks, alongside social inequality increasing influence on economic outcomes.
The value of active investment provides an opportunity to focus on real world outcomes. This session offers a deep dive into how active managers are ideally placed to take a forward-looking view on sustainability, integrating broader stakeholder outcomes into capital allocation decisions.

The Rise of ESG Litigation in the U.S.

In the U.S., derivative actions are increasingly used to advance ESG goals − a strategy that is unfamiliar to many Dutch investors in the U.S. market.  How do these actions accomplish ESG goals?  How can Dutch funds monitor alignment with their ESG goals and use U.S. securities actions to advance them? What lessons can be learned from U.S. pension funds pursuing these actions?
